  1. Mrs. Tilly O’Neil Gordon And Mr. Bill Fraser

Today I am sending you this letter about the environment of Miramichi and the surrounding area. I know you are as much worried as I am at this moment.

When I look at energy sources, I think that windmills are the best source of energy because it doesn’t create any pollution. Don’t you think we should get windmills in Miramichi and surrounding? If we would start watching what we do with our energy sources and take the non-renewable sources out of our world, This could make a huge difference.

Yes, the windmills would go out when there is no wind but we could store some power and when there is no wind the stored power would light up the electricity again. Windmills can be bad because they make noise. Some people say that wind mills would kill birds. Imagine making a coal plant right beside your house! Imagine how many birds would be killed and how the population would go down due to the pollution,

We should get windmills because there is a lot of wind here in New Brunswick and the power we use creates a lot of pollution. Escuminac would be a good place for windmills.

I hope to hear from you and I will be sure to vote for you in 4 years.
